I’m a writer and entrepreneur based in San Francisco, California.

I’m the immigrant daughter of a journalist and an engineer. Born in China, I moved to the United States at the tender age of two. I spent my childhood in the Midwest, my adolescence in the American South. An imaginative little kid, I often dreamed of venturing beyond the white picket fence.

I studied philosophy at Harvard, reported on public markets as a journalist at Forbes, and shipped software as a product manager at Twitter. Today I’m building at the intersection of news & AI with Zette. My playground is a lot bigger now, but I still remind myself to stop and smell the roses every day.
